 Frailey Township was founded in 1847 and named after Judge Charles M. Frailey.
Bordering Tremont, much of the township is forest and coal lands. Interstate 81 stretches across much of the rural acreage.
Donaldson is the township’s primary village, a narrow stretch of homes along Route 125. The village is home to the Donaldson Fire Company and the Frailey Township municipal garage.
